They provide a range of free support and services to children and young people aged 3 years to 18 years, who have been affected by the death, divorce or separation of someone close. Some services are available to parents too. We can refer from the office or families can self-refer.

Think Children is an effective, highly-valued local charity supporting vulnerable children aged 4-11 years old with emerging social, emotional or behavioural issue
We provide an early intervention service at the onset of the problem with low-key, non-stigmatising one to one support for children who fall below the threshold for statutory intervention and for whom often there is often little or no other help available.

Local Children’s Centres
(They provide a range of family support services, including baby/toddler groups, weaning café, adult training courses with free crèches, breast-feeding support groups and other services and activities. These are free to access and most groups do not need a referral.
Home-Start Organisers can also make specific referrals for a worker to be linked with a family to do specific work with them around parenting, routines, home management etc. They are also a good contact point to find out about other family/child/baby services locally)
