If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of  families in the Newark area this could be the role for you.

Home-Start Newark has been operating at the heart of its community for over 30 years, providing support to families when they need it the most. Based in the newly built Castle House offices in Newark we have a small friendly staff team who work alongside our volunteer home visitors and Trustees.

As our Senior Organiser you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our amazing charity, managing staff, bidding for funding and managing finances. You will help to train, develop and manage our bank of talented volunteer home visitors and see for yourself how the voluntary sector benefits families, volunteers and the wider community.

You will work closely with our board of Trustees and build effective relationships with local stakeholders. You will be instrumental in creating asecure future for our charity and help to build a strong public profile.

Travelling to visit families in their home you will see first hand how simple interventions can turn lives around and how futures become brighter because of the support Home-Start provides.

If this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for and you think you’ve got what it takes then we’d love to hear from you.
